Sonic Chaos is an arcade platformer video game that was released back in 1993 for the Sega Game Gear and Sega Masters gaming system, but was re-released as a secret bonus game for the Sonic Adventure DX that was released for the GameCube back in 2003. Sonic Chaos features the same traditional arcade running platformer gameplay as the other Sonic games but was noted to be the first to introduce Tails as a playable character, and was the first to introduce a lot of other features to the series that were used on later games.
